Nothing has come close to matching it so far
There is a correlation between the two series, it is obvious that it is an "influence". By the way, but tbh I did not expect a similar plot. Don’t get me wrong, the series has been amazing so far, great actors, good cinematography, but it is nothing I have not seen in the French version.
You will not regret it
It is too early to say how it will do, but for anyone who has not seen The Bureau, I highly recommend watching it. After Fassbender played a professional hitman in David Finchers film The Hitman, I saw him in the cast and immediately knew that he was a great choice for the role. Watching this type of series really requires a bit of concentration, so you can keep up with all the characters in the plot and the little details about them.
It’s not something you watch while cycling on an indoor bike
Some might find it slow, maybe boring, but it’s the character traits and the complex personal struggles and the slow build-up of tension that I think is great. You either love these shows or you hate them, there’s no middle ground.
